Trying to get indexed in “Technorati”

Well, I can certainly say – trying to get indexed in “Technorati” is by far the most difficult thing I’ve had to do all year.

I know, that last little blurb with letters and numbers made no sense.  It seems that in order to get indexed, one needs to post some crazy code…  We’ll see what happens.  And yes, I will be including a post regarding air conditioning here soon.  It’s been a long week and today I’m heading down to see some Tall Ships.

Until next time , have a safe Labor Day weekend and Happy Camping!

Don’t let your RV lot rot

Use your RV, turn your RV on, keep water in the system, run your pumps, & run your generator under load at least once a month. If it rains, pull the awning out for a nice rinse. Cover your tires if you store your RV. Move the vehicle around a little bit – even if it’s for 20 min. All these things will help to keep your RV in good working order and will alert you to any potential malfunctions prior to heading out on your next trip.

Fire, Life & Safety (FLS) – just what is it?

I wanted to let you know about a great service that I offer. It is a “Fire, Life & Safety” (FLS) check I perform on your RV. I will come out to your location and check the following items: Shore Power Service / High Voltage; Generators; Low Voltage / 12v Systems; Propane; Safety Signaling Devices; Air Conditioning & Ventilation / Chassis & House; Heating; Appliances; Chassis, Engine & Suspension Systems; Jacks & Leveling Systems; Plumbing & Sewer Systems; Entertainment Systems; Awnings; Entry Steps; Ladder; Roof; Interior Leaks; & Exterior Leaks. I test to make sure all these items are working properly and safely and give you a written report – including any items that need repair. This is a great way to make sure your RV continues to give you safe and happy trips. Having a hard copy of my report is also a wonderful tool to be able to offer to a prospective buyer. Please call 619-288-3260 to set up an appointment today.

The Importance of Being Level

Hello folks.  This week’s topic is “The Importance of Being Level.”  The reason I want to discuss this topic, is that this week I have received several phone calls regarding refrigerator issues – all with the outcome of their camper/trailer/RV/motor coach not being level.  I want to help save you money and frustration.  Ensure your motor home is level for proper cooling of your gas operated refrigerator.  Even though the pilot is lit for gas operation, this does not mean that the refrigerator will operate correctly.  So please take a minute and double check your bubbles and do a visual check of your motor home/camper and help eliminate warm beer and spoiled milk.
